Judy Baughn

As a Research Process Manager, Judy oversees much of the everyday operation for the Family and Demography Program at the Institute for Social Research, and has been instrumental in the administration of research Developmental Idealism at the University of Michigan. She has worked at the University for 43 years and has held various jobs across campus with most of them located at the Institute for Social Research. Judy and her husband Don are enjoying a new phase in their everyday life with their three grandchildren, Robyn, Emily, and Justin and enjoy traveling with them as well as their children, Kevin and Kristy. They spend most of their leisure time "up north" at a cottage on Little Bear Lake and are also busy planning trips to favorite locations like Hawaii. Judy can relate to the ongoing, exciting family research which makes her work interesting, challenging and rewarding.
